The Exec Board

Graham Dawson

I have a passion for Photoshop and 3D creation tools on the PC and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the programs.

I chose to become a Director of Mind because I have empathy towards those who struggle with Mental Health issues and just want people to know that they are not alone.

Jill Dibling

I have been involved with Mental Health in the voluntary sector since the mid 1980’s as a ‘Service user’ a volunteer and working for a local organisation as a ‘Mental Health Information officer’ in the 1990’s.

My background was in film and television production until my daughters came along and took up all my time!  In my spare time I enjoy drawing and painting.

I am a founding member of Mid Powys Mind, which I helped found because of the lack of services in the area at the time, as well as a drive to help people.

Isobel Millard

I was approached about being a director and decided that my background and skills would bring something different to the board.

My professional background is in Libary work, antiquarian books, archaeology, museum work and costumes. I have previously run a herb, spice and whole food company and also a craft business.

I am qualified in 5 therapies including Reiki Master.

I am Practical and resourceful and enjoy up-cycling, dyeing and all textile related crafts. I love to garden, forage, make cordials and I care deeply about the environment and sharking skills.

Alistair Reid

Having just moved to mid wales I became a director 3 years ago and am currently the Chair of Mid Powys Mind.

My main professional background is within film production and was an owner of a small production company.  I also extensively taught Film / Video production at many Universities and tertiary Colleges.

Having personal experience of mental health issues I wanted to help the organisation to both develop and enhance the vital services it provides, and to ensure a strong, responsive and progressive future for all who are within the Mid Powys Mind community.

Jane Jarvis

I joined Mid Powys Mind as a member  in 2014 when i need support whilst experiencing trauma and depression. I come from a health and social care background and enjoy being a Director of Mid Powys Mind as we are very community focused and I think, an important asset to Llandrindod Wells. I love animals, nature, current affairs and sci-fi and live in a very remote Welsh valley.
