Our Mums Matter facilitator Tracy Lewis runs the courses which run for 6 weeks, meeting for 2 hours a week, she will be helped by a volunteer who has been through the Mums Matter course before. It is a safe and supportive environment aimed at helping mums and giving them the tools they need to deal with the challenges of motherhood. There is also a creche provided for your babies/children while you attend the course.

Mums Matter has been a fantastic success in Powys, with many mums benefiting from attending, from those with low anxieties and concerns to those with postnatal depression, all mums have found the course to be helpful and have used the tools to help them in daily parenting.

Mums Matter Peer Support Group

As a result of the course, some previous attendees and the volunteers who help with the course have started a peer support group which meets once a month in the Wellbeing Centre in Llandrindod Wells. The group is open to anyone who has already completed the Mums Matter course.
